08/19/2022		Great teacher. It's a one-credit class and is treated as such. Minimal coursework and enjoyable class periods that met once a week. The whole course centered around the final of teaching to elementary class (mine was virtual). Kayla is a great teacher and always has great energy and creates a great environment. If you take any course put on by Terrapin Teachers, expect the course and the teacher to be top-tier like Kayla!

05/11/2022		Great teacher and super passionate about teaching. The course structure was well organized and very cognizant that it was a one-credit course. I would definitely take Kayla again, although I think this may have been her last semester.

04/08/2021 This review was submitted while most classes were online during the COVID-19 pandemic. It may not be indicative of a regular semester.		I loved having class with Kayla! This class was a really good introduction to what a career in education would look like. Since the entire class is online we couldn't go out and teach real third graders which was kind of a bummer, but she was really understanding about everything including the pandemic. You can tell she's passionate about what she does and genuinely wants you to enjoy her class. She's also very approachable if you have any questions but for the most part it's a very easy going class.
