Open Seminar; Text and Image: Approaches through Critical Theory

A seminar designed to explore theoretical approaches that reflect on the construction and production of these two types of cultural artifacts. The seminar is not intended to be a linear survey on literary and cultural theories that are current in our daily routines as literary and cultural critics. On the contrary, the seminar intends to function as a toolbox (caja de herramientas), and as such, it will propose different approaches (tools) taken from a variety of disciplines (literary studies, philosophy, visual art, history) to help us make legible cultural practices.
