It was not manually verified and may not follow our review standards. | She is an excellent professor! There is a big group project and 3 exams. But she was a great resource with answering questions for the project. She truly ties in her profesional experience with the course material. I learned a lot from this class and she really tried to make it interesting for the class. I definitely would take any course that she teaches! |

It was not manually verified and may not follow our review standards. | Mrs. Boyle is one of my favorite professors in marketing major, the other one is Mary Harms. She really appreciate your effort and is very approchable. She is nice to everyone and her class is interesting. You do need to do some reading on your own but she will help you everything you need. She always give you second chance to improve your grade, but once your grade is done, she is not easy to negotiate. Overall, I love her so much! |
| Katherine Boyle BMGT450 admin 11/03/2007 This review was automatically imported from OurUMD. It was not manually verified and may not follow our review standards. | Mrs. Boyle is a great professor and teaches a great class. I loved the IMC class and really learned a lot. She wants students to learn and is very helpful and knowledgeable about the subject. I definitely would take this class! It's not too difficult, and the group project isn't that bad as long as you do the work together. Her tests are 60% M/C and 40% essay. They were pretty easy. A bit easy as they were more geared towards remembering info rather than applications. However, I still learned a lot in the class and always enjoyed lectures, and actually enjoyed reading the book. I took this class in the spring of 2007, and sadly it appears as if she will only be teaching at Shady Grove next semester (Spring 2008). If she comes back to teach at UMCP, I definitely recommend her as it is a great class and she is a great instructor! |
